Beginning in 1992, in response to our diverse community ravaged by the early HIV epidemic, the AIDS Walk/Run celebrates an astounding 29 years!

Thousands of walkers/runners have participated and millions of dollars raised to fill unfunded programming gaps. To date, the AIDS Walk/Run has raised more than $3 million dollars, which stays right here in Central New York.

ACR Health is on the front lines of the HIV/AIDS epidemic and provides support for public health crises like substance use disorder, STIs, and poverty.

**ACR Health envisions a community in which every person has the opportunity to achieve optimal health and equality.**

The AIDS Walk/Run traditionally involves youth teams, corporate teams and individuals who have lost a loved one from AIDS.  Anyone can support the life-saving work of our agency.  This year, the event and fundraising continues until June 30!

This year, we are expanding the AIDS Walk to include a community-wide celebration of PRIDE for the entire month of June.  The schedule will include:

  • Paint the Town RED (June 1)
  • In-Person Walk at Beaver Lake Nature Center (June 6)
  • Pre-recorded online wellness presentations
  • Live Virtual Events
  • Links to community resources and LGBTQ events throughout NYS
  • In-Person Wrap Up Celebration and Awards Ceremony (June 30)
  • And much more…

Check out the complete listing of events below! (Click the image to open the document with links to all events, or click here).

This year, let’s come together (when we can!) and continue to advocate for and empower our most vulnerable community members, all while taking part in the 29th year of the AIDS Walk experience!  JOIN US!!
