ACR Health recognized on World AIDS Day for their efforts to end HIV/AIDS Epidemic

December 2, 2021 – UTICA, NY – Assemblywoman Marianne Buttenschon visited the ACR Health office in Utica today to present a citation of recognition. Assemblywoman Buttenschon presented Lisa Dunn Alford, Executive Director of ACR Health, with a document that would ‘recognize and celebrate ACR Health for their continued commitment to ending the HIV/AIDS Epidemic in New York State’.

Assemblywoman Buttenschon shared this message on her facebook page – “This afternoon, I had the opportunity to meet Lisa Dunn Alford, the executive director of ACR Health, and some of her team members outside of their Mohawk Valley office on Genesee Street in Utica. In recognition of World AIDS Day, it was an honor to present a NYS Assembly Citation on behalf of residents in the 119th District thanking them for the health, education, and support services they offer to those facing chronic diseases, like HIV/AIDS, in Central New York, including those in Oneida and Herkimer counties. ACR Health also facilitates programs that prevent transmission of blood borne disease. Thank you to the entire staff at ACR Health for providing access to these critical services.”
