Promoting Health With People Who Use Drugs (PWUD) Training Center of Expertise

The Center of Expertise at ACR Health provides a range of services related to improving the health of people who use drugs, opioid overdose prevention, and capacity building across New York State. All of our services are grounded in harm reduction, striving to uphold dignity and reduce stigma for people who use drugs.

Services we offer:

  • Free Trainings both virtual and hybrid settings, for non-clinical providers such as staff, peer workers, and supervisors at community-based organizations related to improving health with people who use drugs.
  • Training & Technical Assistance projects related to improving health with people who use drugs.
  • A Capacity Building Initiative that aims to improve engagement in services and ensure the provision of quality, non-judgmental and stigma-free care for people who use drugs.
