What we offer

The Center of Expertise at ACR Health delivers a variety of services related to improving health with people who use drugs (PWUD) throughout New York State.

  • Free Trainings for non-clinical providers such as staff, peer workers, and supervisors at community based organizations related to improving health with people who use drugs.
  • Training & Technical Assistance projects related to improving health with people who use drugs.
  • A Capacity Building Initiative that aims to establish a community of advocates dedicated to fostering an inclusive culture that significantly reduces stigmatization and barriers faced by people who use drugs.

Register for trainings in 3 easy steps:

  1. Log in and click on the title.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the training description. 
  3. Click submit. 

The link will take you directly to login on the registration website (www.hivtrainingny.org). If you currently have an account, enter your user name and password. Once you login, the system will take you directly to the page where you register for this course. If you do not have an account, you will be prompted to create one. This will only take a few moments. Once you have an account, come back to this site and click on the link for the course you want to attend.


If this is your first time registering:

  • You will be asked to create an account on HIVtrainingNY.org. It’s free and easy! 
  • Once you register for training, you will receive email confirmation from hivet@health.ny.gov.
  • You will also receive reminders and other information about trainings from coe@acrhealth.org.
